My family immigrated from Poland in 1984. Long-standing traditions, native language, and delicious homestyle recipes were the backbone of our new life in the United States. I enjoyed watching this delicious food come to life surrounded by friends and family and many cups of tea. What I quickly learned was that this magic came together with well trained taste and memory, not with volumes of cookbooks. This is my attempt to put these recipes on paper and hope that they bring you as much joy as they have brought to our family.
